Delicious Creamy Fish Curry 🐟🍛

 

Want to prepare fish in a delicious way? Then try this delicious fish curry! 👌

Ingredients:

  • Fish – 250g (your choice of type)
  • Coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup condensed coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup liquid coconut milk
  • Coconut oil – 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic, ginger (crushed) – 1 tablespoon
  • Red onion, green chili (chopped)
  • Rampe, curry, cinnamon stick, a pinch
  • Carob, cardamom – 2 pieces
  • 2 cloves of garlic (or 2 tablespoons of tamarind juice)
  • Turmeric powder – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Chili powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Pepper (crushed or powdered) – 1 teaspoon
  • Thunapaha powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – to taste

How to make:

1️⃣ Marinate the fish

First, clean the fish. Add turmeric powder, chili powder, cumin, pepper, salt, tamarind or coriander powder and mix well, and keep aside for 10-15 minutes.

2️⃣ Make the tempura

Place a clay pot on the stove and add coconut oil. Add garlic, ginger, green chilies, cumin, curry leaves, cinnamon, cloves, and cardamom to it and saute until fragrant. Add turmeric powder and chili powder as well.

3️⃣ Add the fish and cook

  • Place the fish fillets in the pot, reduce the heat on the stove, cover with a lid, and let it cook.
  • Then turn it over to the other side and cook the tempura again.

4️⃣ Add the coconut milk

  • Now add 1/2 cup of coconut milk and cook until the fish is cooked well.
  • At this point, increase the heat on the stove to medium.

5️⃣ Add condensed coconut milk

  • Now add 1/2 cup condensed coconut milk (or as much as you want).
  • Stir well, cover and cook on low heat.

6️⃣ End

Once the fish is cooked well, you will see the coconut milk curdling and floating on the oil.

Then turn off the heat.
