                         Butter Chicken with Basmati Rice🍝

Ingredients:

  • 200g chicken breast, diced
  • 100g basmati rice
  • 50g butter
  • 100ml heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 100ml water
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Frying Pan
  • Pot
  • Spatula
  • Measuring Cups

Instructions:

  • In a pot, bring 100ml of water to a boil and add the basmati rice. Cook according to the package instructions until tender, about 10-12 minutes, then fluff with a fork.
  • While the rice cooks, heat a frying pan over medium heat and add 50g of butter. Once melted, add 200g of diced chicken breast and season with salt and pepper. Sauté until the chicken is cooked through, about 5 minutes.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of tomato paste, 1 teaspoon of garam masala, and 1 teaspoon of cumin to the pan. Stir well to coat the chicken evenly.
  • Pour in 100ml of heavy cream and stir to combine. Let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with fresh cilantro before serving it over the basmati rice.
